You don't need to be a technician to install a klappbett. Anyone can do it.
Klappbett is suitable for beds of any size.

Place your slatted bed against the wall in a vertical position. Fasten the T-legs in the corners.

Place the corner iron against the base of the slatted base. Using the five screws, attach the slatted base to the T-legs.

Attach the remaining two folding legs to the remaining two corners of the bed with six screws.

What is the length/height of the bed?
Add 5 cm. to the length of your slatted base and you have the total length. Height: underside of the slatted base is 19 cm.

What are the dimensions of the (inverted) T-leg?

The base measures 32 cm, the height (insert slatted base) is 19 cm.

Can the legs also be attached widthways?

Yes. There must then be a cross bar on the head and foot side of the slatted base.
Can the Klappbett mechanism also be used for a double bed?
Yes, but the lifting is slightly heavier.
Are there springs in the folding legs?
No.
How long does it take to assemble a Klappbett?
It takes half an hour.
Can a Klappbett also be fitted by Remmeries?
Yes, at an additional cost of €50 + travel expenses from Ghent.
